Get Ready Banyo and Districts for Community Carols Dec 6 3-6 PM 

Banyo Community Carols in the Park : A Festive Community Celebration

Banyo and surrounding districts will once again ring out to the chimes of jingle bells and Christmas carols as the annual “Community Carols in the Park” community event returns on Saturday, December 6, at Banyo Memorial Park, 284 St Vincents Rd, Banyo. 

The festivities begin at 3pm and promise fun for all ages. Young families can enjoy a free jumping castle and a special appearance by Santa at 6pm. Older residents will be entertained with music from the Brisbane Brass band, supported by other local acts, including the City Council's Bands in parks program "Swinglicious" Big Band.  

“Christmas is a special time for the community and families to come together and enjoy a showcase of local artists through music, visual arts, associated local products, and community groups,”

"so bring a rug and perhaps grab a sausage or an ice cream and enjoy a free festive afternoon "
